POST-PROC 2 Documentation
Program and model documentation
POST-PROC 2 is designed for the scientific analysis and preparation of simulation results and measurement data. It is particularly suited to large time-dependent and dynamic data series, for example from DELPHIN.
A central principle is the separation of data and visualization. Data files can be updated independently, allowing results to be viewed while a simulation is still running.
Feature overview
- Intelligent unit conversion
- Efficient memory management and strict separation of data and layout
- Updates while simulations are still running
- Dynamic data in diagram, axis and line titles
- Flexible diagram configuration
- Print-ready export as vector and bitmap graphics
- Data export including interpolation
- Integrated calculation models such as mold growth
- Synchronized animation of temperature and humidity fields
Project file format and diagram export
Session files are stored in XML format and can be edited externally or generated by scripts. Diagram configurations can therefore be reused and adapted efficiently. Charts can be exported as precisely sized bitmap or vector graphics, including PDF and SVG.
