A short tour of the program and the new functions in the program interface and accompanying tools.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Video (approx. 40 minutes in German) with new features of DELPHIN 6.1.3 and 6.1.4 &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/_yFKEa2qrhA\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/_yFKEa2qrhA\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/youtu.be\/_yFKEa2qrhA<\/a>. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-left\">Validation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Validation refers to the process of model testing, in which the correct implementation of the formulated physics in the numerical model and solution method is checked. Validation also refers to the basic suitability of a software or the model contained therein to reproduce the data measured in the laboratory or field test. Among other things, it is checked whether the model contains the required complexity and extensive physics and whether it can be parameterized sufficiently.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-pb-accordion-item c-accordion__item js-accordion-item no-js accordion-box\" data-initially-open=\"false\" data-click-to-close=\"true\" data-auto-close=\"true\" data-scroll=\"false\" data-scroll-offset=\"0\"><h3 id=\"at-15811\" class=\"c-accordion__title js-accordion-controller\" role=\"button\">Validation of the software implementation and the numerical calculation method<\/h3><div id=\"ac-15811\" class=\"c-accordion__content\">\n<p>The implementation and numerical implementation of the simulation program was checked with the tests described below. In these tests, the physical equations and required parameters are specified in detail.
